I am a quilter who loves textures. I explore texture and
form in sculptural ceramic pieces that have been exhibited
in several local Connecticut shows. I also design wearable
art.
"Beginnings" is my crossover to non-traditional art quilting. It is an interpretation of a light microscope image of recrystallized progesterone (magnified 50 times) by Arnold Kolb, "The Phoenix: Spirit of New Hope,"Science News cover, May 21, 1994.
