BFA in Graphic Design, Creative Director, Adobe Systems. Published books: "Design Essentials" and "Imaging Essentials", Adobe Press; "Quilt Design Masters," Addison Wesley. I use the Internet for my work at a software company. A friend got me hooked into online quilt groups, including No-Trad.

"Seattle Summers" was designed on the computer with Adobe Photoshop. It was then printed onto linen fabric using a Hewlett Packard 850C ink jet printer. Beads and hand quilting were added later. The images are comprised of cropped and repeated pieces of scanned plant photos.
