I started off as a mathematician, and have been programming
for about 15 years, mostly in small (now defunct) Northern
California companies, lately at Yale. I started quilting
with Internet exchanges.
My TNARQ? piece was inspired by my love of leopards in Douanier Rousseau's paintings and Fellini's movies. It also reflects my fascination with layers, and my avoidance of weaving as yet another fiber activity. Most materials were obtained in ways related to the Net.
